Review: We were sent a Pet Parade Playworld set and a Pet Parade Twin Pack Puppies set to try out with the girls and Homily, and it’s been very much enjoyed! The girls have had a great time getting their toy dogs, and their real one, to do lots of tricks.
Pet Parade puppies can be moved around using plastic leads, and you can also move them around with your finger on their back, which moves the head around too. The puppies can pick up and carry bones and the ball that comes with the play set. Each puppy comes with a sticky label for their collar that allows you to personalise them with your chosen name.
We were sent a twin pack that included a Yorkshire Terrier, which looks close enough to our Norwich Terrier Homily that Lydia was delighted to have her very own toy HomPom.
The Playworld set was easy to put together and the instructions were clear and very easy to follow. The colours are bright and cheerful, and the design is fun to look at and play with.
The Playworld set comes with one dog, a lead, a bone and a ball. The set also features a swing, sleeping area, bath, feeding bowl, grooming station, agility games, and a fun spinning butterfly chasing bit. The girls like the swing and the bath the best – these toy dogs have certainly been enjoying more frequent baths than Homily prefers!
Using the Playworld set you can “train” your dog to fetch the ball – which is catapulted out of the set across the floor, something the kids love – and also to weave in and out of the cones. Using the lead, you can walk your dog up and down the ramp, and place them into the swing for some fun.
We had a lot of fun setting challenges for each other to do – for example getting the puppy to weave in and out of the cones, fetch the ball and take it back to the bowl, before having a bath then chasing the butterflies. Lydia and Georgie really liked playing with the set this way together, which was nice to watch.

We have really enjoyed these toys. You do get quite a lot of features and it is neat how the dogs walk along when pulled by the leads, and can carry objects – it’s nice to have a non-battery operated toy that is interactive for the kids to enjoy. 4 stars.
